Brenda

Brenda has been a valued member of the AHOD team since 1992.  She resides in Falls Creek with her husband, Paxton, and their three beloved rescue pets, two dogs Skippy and Jake and their cat Mimzy. When not at work, Brenda enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her daughters Kayla and Ali and her grandsons Grayson and Jackson. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors at their family camp.

Kris

Kris was born in South Bend, Indiana and grew up in Culver, Indiana. She began working at AHOD in April of 1996. Kris currently resides in Treasure Lake with her boyfriend Dave.  They have three rescue pets, kitties Mina Moo and Tilly Lou, and a dog, Pippy Sue. Kris has volunteered at the Reitz Theatre since moving here in 1996 and has been involved with many productions. In her free time she enjoys making jewelry, listening to music, cooking and spending time with her fur family.   

Charlie

Charlie was born and raised in Punxsutawney, PA and graduated from Punxsutawney Area High School in 2000.  He began working at the Animal Hospital of DuBois in November of 2003 and is currently the office manager. He is married to Angela and they have two wonderful children, Elizabeth and Olivia. Charlie resides in DuBois with his rescued pets, Dudley, a boxer mix and Cuddles a kitty that lost the tips of her ears and tail due to frostbite.  He enjoys spending time with his family, and outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, backpacking, geocaching and searching for the elusive sasquatch.

Angela

Angela was born and raised in DuBois, PA, graduated from DuBois Area HS in 1998, and from Penn State University in 2008. She started working at AHOD in September of 2007. Angela is married to Charlie and has 2 children, Elizabeth and Olivia. She lives in DuBois with her rescue pets Dudley, a Boxer mix and Cuddles, a rescue kitty. Angela enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and vacationing at the beach.

Erica

Erica was born and raised in DuBois, PA. She graduated from DuBois Area High School in 2012 and joined our team in February of 2015. Erica is living in DuBois with husband Matt and her fur baby, Piper.  In her free time Erica enjoys walking her dog, camping, and spending time with her family.

Adam

  Adam was born in Punxsutawney, PA, but currently lives in DuBois with his wife Brooke and two         children, Jaelin and Ian. After being a mechanic for almost 14 years, he decided a change was   needed. He  is often referred to as “The Crazy Cat Guy” for his love of cats. He currently has 4,  Colby   Jack, Francis and Oliver, and Nala. Though animals are his new passion, he still enjoys “turning     wrenches," as well as, camping, comics, and building upon his useful and “pointless” knowledge.

Shannon

Shannon is from Reynoldsville, PA where she lives with her husband Ricky, two dogs - Ayda and Rocky and her cat Sprout! Shannon graduated from the DuBois Area High School in 2011 and then went to the Vet Tech Institute (VTI) in Pittsburgh and got an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology and graduated in 2013. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, specifically at her Grandpa's woods, and going fly fishing and hiking with her husband in the wild streams of PA! 

Susie

Susie moved to DuBois in March of 2019 where she lives with her fiance Joe, their 2 sons Cameron and Kayden, a cat named "Cheeto", and their 2 pitbulls- "Amelia" and "Jeb".  Jeb was a stray that came in to AHOD after being hit by car in 2019 shorty after Susie was hired and was her first emergency case witnessed as part of the team.  Susie graduated in 2018 with an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA.  In her free time Susie enjoys spending time with her family and baking.

Marissa

Marissa has been a part of the animal hospital since December 2020. She currently lives in DuBois with her dog Capone and two cats Alphonse and Ravioli. In her free time she enjoys vacationing in the OBX with her family, riding horses, reading books, and spending time with her beloved pets. 

Jacob

Jacob has been part of team AHOD since July of 2021. He is a graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School, and went on to attend VTI in Pittsburgh where he obtained his Associates degree in Veterinary Technology.  He currently lives in Reynoldsville with a cat (Tigger) and a dog (Remmington). In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing and working on the farm. 

Taylor

Taylor was born and raised in Reynoldsville. She has been a part of AHOD since November of 2019. When she's not here helping our furry patients, she's enjoying a full and active life.

At home, Taylor is surrounded by love, sharing her life with her wonderful husband, Tom, their two children, four cats, and four dogs. Her love for animals extends far beyond her work and her home, as she also enjoys spending time in the great outdoors. In her free time, you can find her playing softball or hunting.

Katelin 

Katelin was born and raised on a small hobby farm in Punxsutawney, PA. She graduated from Punxsutawney Area High School in 2020.  Katelin has been a part of the animal hospital since October 2022. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews and listening to Fall Out Boy. 

Madisyn

Madisyn joined the Animal Hospital team in 2022 and quickly demonstrated her deep love for animals. In her first year, she couldn't resist adopting a stray cat who found their way to the hospital. Madisyn shares her home with two cats, Rue and Monkey, and two Guinea pigs, Marvin and Frank. When not caring for our patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, including cheering on her little brother at dirt bike races. Madisyn also enjoys creative projects, from tinkering in the garage with her dad to finding unique ways to personalize her car.
